Financial industry experts from a dozen countries will gather in Edinburgh next month for the FDATA Global Open Finance Summit & Awards 2019.
The annual summit has attracted some of the most influential international speakers from as far afield as New Zealand, Japan, Russia, Canada, the US, Australia, Germany and the Netherlands. These key players will join experts from the UK to debate and discuss the future of open finance during the two day event in Scotland’s capital.
The agenda covers issues such as customer data right, consent and includes sections on an international view of open finance and global standards. International speakers at the summit include Steve Wiggins, Chief Executive of Payments NZ, Tatyana Zharkova, Managing Director at Russia’s FinTech Association, Yuko Kawai, General Manager for Europe at the Bank of Japan and Arturo Gonzalez Mac Dowell, President and CEO of Spain’s Eurobits.

The Edinburgh summit will also include the Open Finance Awards which have been created to recognise excellence in providing innovative financial applications and services. The shortlist will be announced shortly with the winners announced at the Awards dinner taking place on 5th December at the National Museum of Scotland.
