On 10 and 11 November 2016, the 8th NOAH Conference London was held in Old Billingsgate with the motto “Leaders Connected”. 1.850 participants gathered in Tower Hill, more than the year before, for the European internet and digital economy’s largest industry event. These included corporates such as Deutsche Börse Group, Credit Suisse and Porsche, and fast growing companies such as N26, BlaBlaCar and Adyen.
Following the welcome addresses by NOAH founder Marco Rodzynek, almost 120 speakers presented their companies on the main stage and discussed trends in various industries, as well as the future of the digital economy.
“This year, we have again succeeded in bringing together the digital ecosystem for the face-to-face exchange between the best and most valuable startups as well as investors from Europe. Our networking app shows that over 10,000 business meetings have been held. We are very proud of this”, says NOAH founder Marco Rodzynek.
The highlight of this year’s NOAH Conference took place on the morning of the first day, in form of a Keynote from Deutsche Börse CEO Carsten Kengeter. He emphasised the importance of collaboration as a key factor for success and the realization of innovation. Other speakers on the main stage included Fabrice Grinda (FJ Labs), Glenn Fogel (Priceline Group), Hakan Koc (AUTO1 Group), Elodie Dupuy (ICONIQ Capital), Josh James (Domo), and many more high-profile CEOs and founders.
Companies such as Egon Zehnder, Target Global and London Stock Exchange also shared their experiences and visions of the future of the market with visitors through workshops in Old Billingsgate. On the Startup Stage 80 young entrepreneurs were able to presented their business models.
The NOAH Conference also provided numerous opportunities to network outside the main event, such as the exclusive Speakers’ Dinner in the Hotel Café Royal on the eve of the conference, or at one of the numerous dinner events hosted by long-standing event partners like KKR, Credit Suisse, Adyen and Greenberg Traurig.
