Specialist FinTech compliance consultancy, fscom, today announced it has been selected by the UK’s Department for International Trade’s (DIT) inaugural UK RegTech mission to New York City, during NY’s Fintech week, starting on Monday.
The mission, developed to showcase some of the UK’s most innovative and promising RegTech businesses, boasts a jam-packed wee of meetings and events for the 16 firms selected by the UK DIT, with highlights including:
- Empire Startups FinTech conference
- A pitch event at Barclay Rise
- Group and one-to-one meetings with leading financial service institutions
Francesca Lorenzini, Department of International Trade, comment, “We’re delighted to welcome FSCom to the mission. They are among a group of RegTech firms leading the way in the U.K. and on an exciting trajectory toward the US market, which we hope this engagement will support and accelerate.”
fscom will be promoting its market leading RegTech platform, KYC-Pro, which helps financial services providers standardise their KYC processes and automate client on-boarding operations. Unlike the numerous KYC solutions on the market, KYC-Pro is unique in that it has been developed from a compliance perspective. This means, users can on-board individuals across 20 countries and access information on more than 127 million companies worldwide, safe in the knowledge that they’re meeting their regulatory obligations.
Philip Creed, Head of KYC-Pro, adds, “We’re delighted to be showcasing KYC-Pro on this trade mission. In the U.S. and across the globe, fraud and money laundering are major concerns for financial services providers. KYC-Pro has demonstrated it can significantly reduce that pain and I expect it will be very well received in New York. We’ve married our compliance expertise with advanced technologies to deliver a product that ensures regulatory peace of mind.”
