Ernst & Young LLP Wins Three Awards for Excellence in Hedge Fund Services

Ernst & Young LLP has been recognized as Best Audit Services provider, Best Tax Advisor and Best Advisory Firm in the US Fund Services Awards 2017 by Alt Credit Intelligence, part of the HFM family of magazines. The firm received these distinctions for its superior performance and breadth of offerings to hedge fund clients in the past year.

We are honored to receive these recognitions of our commitment to the hedge fund industry and, most importantly, our clients,” said Michael Serota, Partner, Financial Services Organization, Ernst & Young LLP, and EY Global Leader of Hedge Fund Services. “It is essential that we continue to exceed client expectations and enhance our service offerings. Such accolades of our tax, advisory and audit services confirm the broad EY skillset, deep experience and leadership in the industry.

This marks the second annual Alt Credit Intelligence US Fund Services Awards, which was created to evaluate fund administration firms that have demonstrated growth as well as a commitment to client service over the past year. Similar to the well-established HFM US Hedge Fund Services Awards, which EY has won for the past eight consecutive years, winners are determined by a panel of judges made up of representatives from the publication and industry experts. The judges took into account all of the relevant firms and reviewed each contender’s commercial success and growth, innovative product development and customer service. These recognitions come shortly after the firm’s receipt of other industry distinctions, including top awards from the Fund Intelligence Mutual Fund Awards, HFMWeek US Hedge Fund Service Awards, and the Hedge Fund Journal Awards.

In addition to providing core audit and tax services, EY firms offer a wide range of specialty services that can help clients manage risk and improve their organizations’ growth, tax efficiency and compliance. The EY wealth & asset management practices in North America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia serve the industry across key financial centers. EY firms provide services to more than 70% of the top 100 global hedge funds. Their wide-ranging and diverse portfolio of clients employ all strategies – from long/short equity to the most complex global fixed income and derivatives funds, as well as funds of funds.
