The 50th anniversary of the installation of the world’s first ATM will be commemorated by the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) at Europe’s most important financial service conference, ATM & Cash Innovation 2017, in association with conference partners Reconnaissance International.
As befits an industry event of this magnitude, which is expected to attract over 600 financial services professionals from more than 70 countries, the speaker line-up is exceptional.
Following on from the keynote guest address from Rory Cellan-Jones, the BBC’s renowned Technology Correspondent, the Number 1 industry keynote will be delivered by Bill Nuti, the respected and acclaimed Chairman, President and CEO of the NCR Corporation.
Bill Nuti’s leadership has completely transformed the fortunes of NCR over the last decade. Bill is a thought-leader on innovation and will use his conference speech at this banner event to outline his views on the likely innovations in multi-channel payments and self-service over the next decade.
Julian Arnold has been with HSBC since 1998 and is now the Global Head of ATM and Self-Service. Julian’s presentation will focus on a three-year self-service transformation process implemented in the bank’s six key markets and the impact on operations world-wide.
Antonio Encinar is responsible for the ATM channel at Santander Group. With his experience of conducting branch transformation and multichannel projects in both Latin America and Europe, Antonio is ideally placed to speak about the banks best practices and innovation successes.
Continuing the theme of innovation, Daniel Goodman, VP ATM & Cash Access at MasterCard, will direct his focus on “The next 10 years of payment innovation”. With MasterCard’s record on innovation being second to none, this is certain to be an illuminating and thought-provoking presentation.
Central banks and regulators also have a crucial role in innovation. Recognising this, the conference will feature Michael Lambert, from the US Federal Reserve; the Bank of England’s Victoria Cleland and Ruediger Voss, from the European Commission. Having these three pre-eminent speakers appearing together highlights the conferences status as Europe’s premier event of its kind in 2017. And the A-list of speakers does not end there. A further twenty five have already committed to speak at this ground-breaking conference. Full details of the current speaker listing can be found here.
“ATMIA is proud of all the events we run around the world,” commented Mike Lee, ATMIA CEO “but we have pulled out all the stops for this major commemorative conference to both celebrate 50 years of the ATM and to look forward with some of the top minds in our industry to the next generation of this transformative technology. ATMIA applauds this amazing group of industry leaders for supporting this milestone event.”
For Reconnaissance International, Chairman Martyn White commented: “This conference breaks new ground in terms of both the breadth and depth of coverage of both current industry issues and future innovations. The first-class line-up of speakers perfectly reflects the leading-edge nature of the conference.”
